Armstrong Craven recruits industrial practise lead
The move comes six months after the completion of a management buy out from former parent company Work Group plc and signals a renewed focus on business growth.
“Mark impressed us with his extensive experience of delivering global senior search assignments for large blue chip organisations - and in particular, his understanding of challenging sectors such as oil and gas, engineering and defence. While we have been active in these markets for some time, Mark’s appointment will enable us to consolidate our position and drive further expansion,” says Matthew Mellor, CEO Armstrong Craven.
A qualified accountant, Doig brings over 15 years search experience, most recently as head of talent acquisition at Alexander Mann Solutions. Commenting on his new role he says: “I am delighted to join the talented team at Armstrong Craven at what is an exciting time in the company’s development. It also gives me the opportunity to take an integrated combination of people intelligence services to clients where global insight works with pipelining and search solutions a trend which is becoming more important to organisations in an increasingly sophisticated market.”
Doig will be responsible for the overall growth and profitability of the Industrial practice, developing client relationships - both existing and new – as well as providing strong leadership and clear strategic goals for the multi-national team. Industrial is one of Armstrong Craven’s five practice areas which also include Financial Services, Consumer, Technology and Healthcare & Life Sciences.
