Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment announces 5 new starters
Andy Curzon, 32, and Steve Collings, 34, join the company as senior consultants, bringing expertise to target niche boutique practices and larger private practices across the UK.
New recruitment consultant Danni Bourne, 23, will specialise in locum appointments and Olivia Collicott, also 23, joins the in-house recruitment team.
The company has added to its successful apprentice scheme, by appointing Samantha Chapman, 19, as social media apprentice within the marketing team.
MD Kathryn Riley predicted a raft of new appointments when Douglas Scott moved to its new HQ at the end of 2013, and these latest additions to the team have swiftly followed the company’s launch of its international desk last month. “This year we celebrate 10 years of steady growth, meaning the company has established a strong reputation,” says Kathryn. “With a solid client base and trusted presence in a number of UK locations, we are now expanding into specific sectors and geographical locations and have a swift yet strategic growth plan that will see further appointments to the team over the next few months. We’re currently recruiting for our international desk and will be looking to expand our commercial team further very soon.”
Douglas Scott is now the largest private practice recruiter in the UK, with over 40 staff recruiting legal personnel of all levels. Turnover is up 35% y/o/y and job offers are up 80%. The company has just rebranded to celebrate its growth and direction.
The company has offices in Manchester, Birmingham, London, Liverpool and Leeds.
