Outsource UKs 2014 Thought Leadership series launches with event on compliance

Compliance Within the Staffing Industry, which will feature two independent experts considering how impending changes to employment law will affect compliance within organisations, will be held at STEAM Museum, Swindon, on Friday 28th March 2014.

Tom Hadley, director of policy and professional services at the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), and Kerrie Hunt, employment law partner at Thrings law firm, will give impartial advice and lead the open forum in which delegates will be able to discuss current recruitment issues.

The event is the first in a series devised and managed by Outsource UK, and will be held alternately in Swindon and Bristol. Other subjects in the series will include Bring Your Own Device – the IT implications when employees use their own personal laptops and tablets for work – and Cloud Computing.

Neil Hedges, Outsource UK’s business development manager, said he expects the types of attendees to vary, depending on the topic, but will typically be HR directors and IT directors.

“The events will give people the opportunity to learn more about some of the most pressing issues facing HR and IT specialists in an informal manner, without substantially eating into their working days,” said Hedges.

“We would be very glad to see familiar and new faces at these events, and look forward to a very pertinent and interesting start to this series.”

Compliance Within the Staffing Industry is at STEAM Museum, Swindon, on Friday 28th March.

Registration and breakfast are at 8.30am, and the event will begin at 9am and run until 9.40am.
