Select Appointments launches home-based franchising initiative
The company is now offering a home-based franchising option, as well as a new, more flexible and cost effective office-based model.
David Buist, director of franchise development, explains: “Running your own recruitment consultancy can be very stressful. You have to wear a number of hats from chief salesperson and payroll administrator to marketing director and credit controller. Juggling all these responsibilities is hard enough but when was the last time you could take a break without worrying about the business?”
“With a Select Franchise you have the backing and support of a nationally known brand. We take care of many of the & lsquo;back office’ functions leaving the consultant free to develop the business, service clients and recruit and train the right staff. With the benefit of our proven businesses processes and marketing activities the independent consultant can develop their existing expertise and contacts to build a solid business which could be sold at a later date.”
Select offers a range of franchise options from an office-based franchise to running an agency from a home office. Select Appointments was established in 1980 to provide a high-quality personalised staffing service to employers and job seekers. The company is one of the UK’s leading staffing companies and recruitment franchisors and forms part of the Staffline Group plc, a London Stock Exchange AIM listed company and one of the UK’s largest and most successful recruitment businesses.
Select has been involved in franchising since 1992 and currently there are 27 Select franchise offices operating throughout the UK. The company aims to expand the network to 100 franchise locations during the next five years. Select is a member of both the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and the British Franchise Association (BFA).
