APSCo apprentice wins award
The award, which was launched last year by MiddletonMurray, aims to recognise the apprentice who has most impressed their managers over the course of the month. MiddletonMurray was this year named & lsquo;Best Training Provider’ at the Apprenticeships4England Training Provider Awards, and has previously worked with the trade association.
APSCo apprentice Kasab was chosen for “her ability to work independently and autonomously as well as her willingness to take on responsibilities beyond her normal job description” according to Middleton Murray’s Lead Assessor Tony Withers. “Sibel provided one of the highest standards of assessment evidence by a candidate and has proven to be a great asset to the APSCo team.”
On hearing of her success, Kasab said, “I feel privileged that my hard work has been acknowledged. Receiving this recognition has encouraged me to do even more and develop further skills.”
Kasab is now looking forward to the prospect of doing the Level 3 NVQ in Business and Administration, which will be fully supported by APSCo. Fiona Lander, her manager at APSCo said, “We are delighted that Sibel’s fantastic contribution has been recognised with this award. We are always keen to invest in young talent through apprenticeship schemes and we will certainly be offering Sibel a permanent role at the company.”
