Berry Recruitment adds rouge to its colours
They will now be known as Berry Catering, reflecting their catering and hospitality sector expertise.
Berry purchased the highly successful and established Rouge Recruitment in 2010 and the name change allows the roll-out of its specialist knowledge across the larger group.
Rouge Recruitment was formed in 2006 by experienced operators and quickly developed a loyal customer base.
As Berry Catering it will continue to serve the whole catering and hospitality industry.
Currently it supplies staff for Premier League football, county cricket, Formula One events, festivals and rock concerts, as well as providing staff for outside catering, contract caterers, schools, hospitals, restaurants and pubs.
The catering and hospitality industry is the fourth largest in Britain and directly employs more than 2.7 million people.
The industry is worth £115 billion to the UK economy each year, and for every job it creates, a further five are created in the supply sector, according to latest figures from the British Hospitality Association.
With expected growth in the wider UK economy, Berry Catering anticipates its own expansion.
Mick Nabbs, who is Berry Catering's business development manager, said: “While the name and branding has changed, the high level of service and attention to detail will remain the same.
“Those are the qualities that have seen the business grow and that won’t change for our clients and applicants.
“Every Berry Catering Consultant understands the industry and we pay very close attention to service quality.
“We train our applicants to achieve the highest standards in silver service, fine dining and all areas of catering.
“Every worker we provide has a Food Hygiene Certificate and can be DBS vetted.
“We can meet short, seasonal or long-term requirements and offer 24-hour, seven-day availability.
“The re-branding will help boost recognition and awareness of the Berry name and cements the important position of catering and hospitality within the group.”
