CV-Library celebrates hosting more than 100,000 live jobs concurrently
A combination of a strengthening jobs market, increased advertising coverage and award-winning mobile offerings has led to month on month growth within the business. 2013 saw more applications per vacancy than any other year (over 71 in the case of Administration roles), more CVs uploaded to CV-Library’s industry leading database (3.1 million), and more job searches than ever before (10.5 million per month).
The most recent market report from BroadBean Technology also indicates that CV-Library continues to out-perform the rest of the industry in terms of number of jobs posted, the number of responses in a month to all vacancies, and, importantly for recruiters, the number of applications received per vacancy.
Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library, said, “We are naturally delighted to have broken yet another milestone, and the amazing story of CV-Library continues each and every month.
“Not only are we helping the recruitment sector to reach their targets, but are actively assisting hundreds if not thousands of businesses in filling jobs quickly, efficiently and with the right candidates we believe that this efficiency is really helping to contribute to the upturn in the British economy.
“We have recently optimised our website for mobile visitors, and a direct consequence of this is that a third of all site visitors are now coming to us from their phones and tablets, and 16% of applications are made & lsquo;on the move’. These technological advances, coupled with great packages available to both candidates and recruiters have allowed us to grow exponentially year on year, and breaking through the 100,000 concurrent job vacancies barrier goes some way to highlight this continued success.”
