CV-Library wins at Mobile Recruitment Awards 2014
The virtual 2014 Mobile Recruitment Awards acknowledge companies from all over the world who are leading the way in embracing mobile recruitment. The awards were set up to highlight best practices in this field, and to encourage others to follow suit.
CV-Library, nominated in the & lsquo;Best Job Board Mobile Website’ and the & lsquo; Most Innovative Mobile Recruitment Product / Service’ categories, has spent the last 12 months improving their support for job seekers and upgrading their internally-developed mobile application for iOS and Android devices.
With the winners announced via a live streaming video, CV-Library were delighted to take home another award highlighting once more the efforts that have gone into developing their website into one which is fully mobile responsive, allowing visitors accessing the website from their smart phones or tablet and complete experience, rather than a difficult to navigate, slow one.
This latest award comes hot on the heels of the win at the OnRec awards, where CV-Library took home & lsquo;Best Use of Mobile’ in the Job Board category the previous week.
Russell Harman, Design Manager at CV-Library commented: “We decided as a business in early 2013 to make our website mobile responsive and the consequences have been staggering. The percentage of visitors to our site from mobiles is up, the amount of time spent on the site from a connected device is up, and the number of applications made via a smart device has almost doubled since we went live just before Christmas. Whilst CV-Library is incredibly proud of what we have achieved, we will certainly not rest on our laurels as the use of mobile devices grows and the technology therein develops and advances, we have to change and adapt to users’ behaviour and needs.”
Mike Taylor from Web Based Recruitment , organisers of the Mobile Recruitment Awards commented “the judges found the CV-Library mobile website very easy to use, with clear navigation and a number of different options for applying for a job.”
The award win now takes the UK’s leading independent job board to over 40 nominations and wins since its inception back in 2000.
