HCIG launches new joint venture
Supported by HCIG, the business has been established by CEO Simon Wicks, who has 17 years’ experience in the sector. Simon’s career includes six years with Hays Accountancy & Finance and nine years with Reed Finance, where he was instrumental in growing the brand across the South, London and the Midlands. He has pulled together a team of professional recruiters with similar levels of tenure in the market to form Butler Rose.
“What’s really exciting about this new venture,” says Simon “is the fact that our team includes a number of trusted people who I have worked with before. These are highly-experienced professionals who I know can deliver the very best recruitment services in the accountancy and finance sector.”
Butler Rose will specialise in the recruitment of both part-qualified and qualified finance professionals, giving them the unique ability to work with candidates and clients throughout their professional careers. Butler Rose also has plans to move into other areas of professional services recruitment, including HR, procurement and legal, as they recruit specialist consultants in these markets. Butler Rose will launch initially with offices in Bristol, Birmingham and Milton Keynes, with a London office opening planned for the beginning of June.
Simon Wicks adds, “With the professional services recruitment market continuing to improve, this is the perfect time to launch Butler Rose. There is a gap in the market for an ambitious, service-focused recruitment business that is capable of using its consultants’ extensive networks to uncover the very best candidates. Butler Rose fills that gap.”
