HCL Workforce Solutions means business
As Stephen Burke, HCL’s CEO, states, "HCL has transitioned into a focused, streamlined business, dedicated to fulfilling the needs of our clients and we need the right people to steer us in this objective’. This need for strong, competent leadership has driven the numerous promotions and key hires that have taken place since the beginning of the year."
One of the most notable appointments to take place was that of Claire Billenness, whose role as sales and marketing director evolved into her new role as managing director of client solutions at the beginning of the year. In her wide ranging remit, Billenness will be responsible for HCL managed solutions, business development, bids & tenders and marketing.
As Billenness states, & lsquo; This wave of appointments within our client solutions business clearly signals a change in HCL’s fortunes. The talented individuals who have joined us provide additional structure and capacity to support business on national frameworks. With further complex tenders due out this year, we have found the right people to bring us through this."

Simon Nevill is appointed as, head of bids and tenders having previously worked with Hays Recruitment, while Martyn Davies Friend, strategic account manager, joins the business development team from BT.
Billenness commented, "Darren, Simon and Martyn add great strength to our business and Amanda’s well deserved promotion recognizes her achievements within our managed services business.
