InterQuest to host Women in Banking and Finance event

The event will be held on Tuesday June 24th 2014, at Kemp Little’s office in London, with a guest speaker from InterQuest’s own network of leading professionals within the Banking & Financial sectors.

Women in Banking and Finance is a not for profit membership organisation founded in 1980 and staffed primarily by voluntary Executive and Management Committees. The Group’s corporate members include global financial services companies, major banks and firms servicing the industry.

A key focus of the day’s itinerary will be the subject of the barriers that women still face on the way to top level promotion. As knowledge sharing expert leaders, InterQuest aim to contribute to this topical debate.

Laura Clerici, global marketing executive at the WiBF commented, "We are delighted to be supported by InterQuest in this networking event as providers of specialist candidates in to the Financial Services sector they are an organisation that has experienced firsthand how much importance employers really put on gender equality. The upcoming event has already received a great deal of interest and we are anticipating some very interesting discussion on the day. Events like this are a great chance to meet with new and existing contacts of the WiBF group, which invariably presents plenty of fantastic networking opportunities. We’ve had some great support from InterQuest in the event’s organisation and are really looking forward to working with them in hosting this event."

InterQuest group’s sales & marketing director Paul Sharpe noted, "InterQuest are delighted to support the forthcoming WiBF event. Recognising diversity and inclusion should be central and the norm in organisational practice but we still experience differentiation in organisational interpretation of the seriousness of dealing with the challenges and issues this important agenda presents.'
