New specialist supply chain and perations recruiter Drummond Bridge has international ambitions
This approach and an insistence on discipline specialism among its consultants, marks Drummond Bridge out from larger more generalist operators where supply chain and operations is just one of many competing recruitment sectors.
The company’s specialist approach is part of a plan to grow from its current base in the UK, with an initial focus on strategically important countries, including Switzerland, Germany, France, Hungary, Poland and Romania, as part of a rapid international expansion.
Jamie Brown, manager of UK operations, said, "Drummond Bridge will deal with highly selective clients and the most skilled and experienced candidates to provide a uniquely consultative approach to supporting the recruitment of senior professionals in supply chain and operations.
"Specialist skills are becoming more important in the sector and the best candidates are increasingly attracted to specialist firms which have a deep and detailed understanding of their profession."
The new company, which has offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, is part of the rapidly expanding Livingston James Group.
The launch of Drummond Bridge is the latest step in a carefully planned strategy that aims to provide specialist services for the most demanding clients and senior professionals. It follows the success of Rutherford Cross, a similarly specialist search practice with specific focus on senior finance appointments.
With an improving economic outlook and strong financial backing, Drummond Bridge is targeting a significant increase in headcount and rapid growth in revenues over the next six months.
