Oasis HR announced as a Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) award finalist!
Oasis HR were among a number of shortlisted businesses, including the likes of Sainsbury’s, Barclays, the BBC, E.ON and HMRC. Winners will be announced at an evening event being held on 14th May at Eversheds’ London facility.
In the first year of awards, the RIDI were overwhelmed with the number of submissions they received and almost doubled their target. The standard of submissions were extremely high, which meant some difficult decisions had to be made by the team of judges.
The judges’ feedback included:
Kate Headley – Chair of Judging Panel & Development Director, The Clear Company“These finalists truly showcase that it is possible to remove barriers in the busiest recruitment environments, and by doing so change lives and gain great talent. I congratulate every single entry for the work they have done and the progress these awards are able to share with the world.
“For those not yet involved – no excuses remain as we dispel any remaining myths with these outstanding examples of best practice large and small.”
Janet Hill, Director, Diversity & Equality, Civil Service“The overall quality of the submissions, especially for a 1st awards round, has set the bar high. It’s the power of the case studies and the network of passionate souls out there on the ground who are transforming lives that makes all of this so worthwhile.”
Ken Lahti, vice president, product development and innovation, CEB SHL Talent Measurement Solutions, commented, “It was really amazing to read the entries – so much good work going on there!”
Sue LaVerne, Senior Vice President, E.ON SE, said, “After reading all the brilliant submissions I felt inspired about the journey we are on and was delighted to see what a difference is being made.”
The RIDI Awards 2014 are pleased to announce that the following organisations are finalists for this year’s awards. Several categories proved to be a very tight race, and as part of the awards the RIDI look forward to sharing a number of the case studies submitted.
