Sellick Partnership corporate communications director shortlisted in NW Young Professionals Awards

Attracting over 100 entries from across the North West for 11 award categories, Gibbons has been listed in the Young Marketing and Media Professional category.

Joining Sellick Partnership in 2007 and single-handedly establishing the marketing department, she has always played an intrinsic role in the growth and development of the company, leading to her promotion to corporate communications director in 2013. Gibbons's commitment and confidence in the Sellick Partnership brand as an employer of choice – as well as a recruiter of choice – led to the business to achieving the Investors in People Silver Accreditation on the company’s first attempt, and being listed in the London Stock Exchange’s Hot 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2013.

Speaking after the shortlist was revealed, Jo Sellick, managing director of Sellick Partnership, said “Anna has been vital to the success of our business since she joined and I am delighted with the recognition she has received today. She’s fully committed to ensuring we’re always one step ahead in the market, whether that be with SEO and social media or events and corporate social responsibility, keeping our stakeholders in mind at all times.”

Ann Swain, CEO of The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo), comments on Anna’s role at Sellick Partnership, and her position as chair of the APSCo Marketing Forum, “Within the recruitment sector she is known for building an authentic brand in Sellick Partnership which resonates with customers, candidates, staff and indeed its competitors. In my opinion Anna’s personal work ethic, intellect and drive puts her head and shoulders above her contemporaries and we are very fortunate to have her input into the professional recruitment sector.”
