Uniting Ambition grows its internal recruitment team
After an undisclosed amount of funding from Centric, Uniting Ambition will continue to expand into the UK’s major cities.
With 18 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, 8 of those in Rec-to-Rec recruitment, Laurie joins Uniting Ambition at a crucial time.

After starting a career in PR, Laurie turned to IT recruitment in the mid-90s. Her expertise are varied, from IT, to sales & marketing, through to FMCG and manufacturing. During her three years at Cornerstone, part of the Caudwell Group, Louise met founder and managing director of Uniting Ambition, Adam Shaw.
Laurie says, “I met Adam during my time at Caudwell, along with fellow Uniting Ambition Directors Lisa Holmes and Howard Murfin. From the beginning I have believed in their vision I’m excited to be a part of it.
“So many recruitment companies say they’re different, but from my experience, they aren’t. But Uniting Ambition truly are it’s their dedication to customer’s that attracted me to the brand.”
