WCN Breakfast Seminar - Process Change and Technology

Speakers at the seminar, hosted in central London on Friday 25th April, include Beth Simkin-Park, Lead HR Business Partner from Simplyhealth. In examining the Simplyhealth success at delivering a new recruitment approach, Beth will explore the impact of attracting employees who are engaged, have the right cultural fit, skills and behaviour to meet their business objectives. She will show how, in order to achieve this, Simplyhealth needed to move away from a reliance on agencies and conduct a more direct approach to recruiting.

Simkin-Park will also outline part of the in-depth recruitment review that Simplyhealth conducted, which led it to change to a more efficient centralised recruitment system and move the process online, resulting in a reduction of cost per hire.

Also speaking at the seminar is Paul Arthur, resourcing technology consultant from Alexander Mann Solutions. In his session Arthur will cover several areas including video interviewing, mobile strategies, referral software, people aggregators and semantic tools. These technology tools are increasingly important in order to stay ahead of competitors and to build a competitive talent advantage. Arthur will also explain that keeping up with trends is imperative for organisations wanting to take advantage of talent opportunities.
