Zeel Solutions in running for Best Place to Work honour
Zeel Solutions, which uses clever technology to develop solutions that simplify complex recruitment issues and processes, beat off competition from across the West Midlands to make it through to the last three of the Express and Star’s & lsquo;Best Place to Work’ award.
Judges highlighted the company’s commitment to recruiting local graduates and apprenticeships, its commitment to diversity and the development plans they have in place for each member of staff.
They were also impressed with the culture of creativity and innovation with all employees encouraged to add their own ideas and get involved in activities outside of work, including football tournaments, bowling and fundraising for charity.
Rav Cheema, managing director, commented, “We are a very small company competing against larger rivals thanks to the skills, vision and commitment of our people.
“(The) majority of our employees have been with us since day one when we had a small team of IT and recruitment professionals and some clever ideas. Every recruit we’ve made has had to fit in with this ethos and bring something new to the team.
“This is why I’m so pleased we’ve been recongised as a great place to work and look forward to doing battle with the other highly regarded finalists to win the award in May.”
Located in Wolverhampton, Zeel Solutions is one of the UK’s fastest growing tech start-ups, combining the latest technology with industry experience to offer a 5-strong suite of solutions that give recruitment agencies the chance to offer better cost, control and compliance when managing temporary or permanent staff.
The company, which employs 23 staff and is on course for a record £2m turnover this year, has developed a blue chip client base that sees it operate within logistics, distribution, manufacturing, retail and the public sector.
Using its extensive development team to tailor & lsquo;Zrecruiter’, the firm is also now changing the way the NHS recruits its staff and saving Trusts – on average - £140,000 for every £1m of locum spend.
Cheema concluded, “Innovation is a key part of what we do and we are continually working on new solutions that will improve the client experience in recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), vendor management services (VMS) and when they are arranging travel and subsistence (T&S).”
