Argyll Scott launches energy practice
Marc Hague has joined the business to head up the division. He has a strong track record in recruitment, having previously built up a number of successful recruitment teams in past roles. Marc chose to focus on recruiting within the Oil & Gas space due to his previous career as a Royal Engineer in the British Army. He felt that clients and candidates would benefit from the knowledge he gained while working in the sector during his time in the army. He was a plant operator mechanic and duties included carrying out engineering construction and demolition projects in major war zones. Prior to joining Argyll Scott, Marc was a divisional recruitment manager at Eximius.
The Energy practice will cover the four core disciplines of Wells & Drilling, Subsea, Subsurface & Geosciences, Engineering - EPC and Marine, recruiting for permanent and contract positions from engineer through to director level.
Marc Hague, head of Argyll Scott’s Energy Practice, commented, “With a strong search capability on top of an already extensive network of talent, we are well placed to make rapid inroads into the Oil & Gas recruitment space. I am excited to be joining a business, which has consistently built out specialist divisions where sector knowledge and developing exclusive partnerships with market leading clients are central to its success.”
Rodney Fraser, Managing Director, Argyll Scott comments “We are delighted that Marc has decided to join Argyll Scott and spearhead the growth of our Energy business. Marc brings energy, enthusiasm, professionalism and integrity in abundance. He has a proven track record in building divisions in recruitment and I am excited to be working with him to grow what I am sure will be a hugely successful and integral part of the Argyll Scott business.”
