Barker Ross to raise 10K for charity
Employees are going to take part in the Great North Run, climb Scafel Pike, hold a family fun day, inter office bike ride and take part in other events such as dress down days to raise money.
Paul Ross, CEO and founder of Barker Ross said, “One of our employees, Ryan Burnett, suggested we support Sands as they gave him and his family a great deal of support when they lost their baby boy. It was a very popular choice amongst our staff and something I think everyone can relate to.”
“We are hoping that we can raise or exceed the £10K target and people have already started organising an exciting range of events that both the sporting and non-sporting members of our teams can take part in.”
Fundraising is now a key part of the Barker Ross culture. As part of its celebrations in 2013 to mark its 25th Anniversary, Barker Ross employees raised a staggering £25,927 for the charity Children with Cancer.
Founded in 1988, Barker Ross quickly established a reputation as one of the UK’s leading construction and industrial specialists.
The group has become one of the first ports of call for clients needing temporary and permanent staff in industry sectors such as food processing, agriculture, construction and logistics.
The group also includes Cardea, a recruitment business serving the health and social care sectors.
