Capital MD voted onto APSCo representative commitee
APSCo has approximately 600 members and ensures they offer the highest possible standards of trading practice and promote excellence through the industry. It also provides a recognised stamp of quality assurance as all members are rigorously referenced and must adhere to strict codes of conduct.
Silk commented, “I’m very excited to have been elected on to the Representative Committee and look forward to working with APSCo’s chief executive officer, Ann Swain, her directors and committee members. We’re experiencing busy times in our industry as the economic climate looks brighter. Recruitment in our own niche sectors of aerospace, automotive, electronics, and telecoms, is a very dynamic fast-moving business, with ever-changing technology and legislation. I’m looking forward to taking part and contributing to the great work APSCo does.”
Silk has also been chosen as an expert speaker at the Go Global Career Telesummit, a free five-day project aimed for engineers, architects, planners and construction industry professional who want to land the expat job of their dreams.
The telesummit takes place between May 12th and 16th and Karen’s session on how recruiters can help will be on May 14th.
“This is a huge honour,” says Silk, “It’s the first time I’ve taken part in a global telesummit but I’m definitely up for the challenge! It’ll be interesting to give advice to people all over the world at the same time then see how that advice, along with that of my colleague speakers, helps to secure delegates their dream jobs.”
