Positive statistics mirrored in Interquest's recruitment plans
InterQuest Group plc, have reported that their own staffing requirements have increased at a rate concurrent with the figures reported by APSCo and ONS. The Group recently reported that it made 28 new hires around its businesses in the six months between September 2013 and February 2014 with considerably increased client demand recorded across their specialist practices, namely Digital and Analytics.
Last month InterQuest’s recent progress and outlook was summarized by financial publication MoneyWeek who noted:
& lsquo;InterQuest has focused on the specialised growing areas of digital, enterprise software, and telecoms. It has developed an expertise in these areas, providing advice and recruits for clients in the finance, government and retail sectors. Big Data and business analytics, which require ITQ’s know-how, are & lsquo;hot areas’ for recruiters at the moment... So the market is clearly picking up and InterQuest is performing well after its re-focusing.’
InterQuest recently indicated that they are planning to hire additional recruits over the next three months, supporting their continued growth. Supporting this, they have recently re-launched their new careers site, a large area of their website dedicated to providing a detailed account of the company’s training programmes, working culture, incentives & rewards and current vacancies.
InterQuest’s sales & marketing director Paul Sharpe, commented, "We have continued to experience a substantial increase in client demand for specialist and hard to find skills. As such we project that we will continue to expand our teams in response to that demand in the coming months, necessitating the introduction of our all new careers page, providing those who are interested in specialisation a very genuine and clear representation of what it is like to work at the InterQuest Group."
