REED awarded ultimate customer service accreditation

The CSE Standard is a nationally recognised Cabinet Office accreditation which serves as a driver of continuous improvement, a skills development tool and as an independent validation of achievement. In order to receive this certificate a company has to prove that it has reached a required standard in customer service.

Richard Smith, group managing director at REED, commented, “We’re delighted to have been recognised for our levels of customer service, which as a people business, is at the heart of what we do. As well as providing our customers with excellent service, it’s imperative that our candidates also feel supported by us throughout their whole journey”.

REED was assessed on its levels of customer insight, the culture of the organisation, information and access, as well as timeliness and quality of service. 

The report identified a number of key areas in which REED excelled. The company was praised for its & lsquo;can-do’ attitude, provision of timely and accurate information, and the culture of customer service which was felt to be based on empathy with both clients and candidates.

Formerly known as the Charter Mark, the CSE Standard is already well known in the public sector, and is becoming more and more common in the private sector.
