UA Recruitment make 4 more appointments

The award-winning recruitment business, specialising in privately owned and capital invested businesses is pleased to welcome Matt Barker to their new Manchester branch. Barker will head up IT Recruitment in the North West and will continue to grow the businesses already strong customer-base.

Matt commented, “After eight years in IT Recruitment, I wanted a new challenge and a new opportunity. I was attracted to UA Recruitment’s growth plans and the culture of the workplace it’s a welcoming and thriving place to work. The technology UA has built is like no other I’ve seen before, it focuses on making my life, as a consultant, far easier and more efficient.”

Matt will grow the Manchester office with director Adam Wagster, and will have a 15-head strong workforce before the end of 2014. 

Adam, director at UA Recruitment, says, “We already work with some of Manchester’s most recognised digital businesses, included onthebeach.co.uk, missguided.com and boohoo.com. Matt is a great asset to have as we continue to drive our growth in the North.”

UA Recruitment has also welcomed Scott Allan and Zara Scott to the IT Contract team based in their Staffordshire HQ.

Scott has had previous experience in contract recruitment and said & lsquo;it’s the opportunity and career progression’ which attracted him to UA Recruitment.

Zara joins UA after attending the businesses Emerging Talent day earlier this month. Like Scott, Zara wanted a new challenge and said the culture at UA Recruitment would provide the best platform to develop her career.

Bradley Foster also joins the recruitment company in UA Select, specialising in contact centre and sales and service. Bradley also attended UA Recruitment’s Emerging Talent day.

Adam Wagster, continues: “It’s an exciting time for UA Recruitment not only will we be doubling our headcount, but we’re expanding our offices across the UK. Our new Birmingham and Manchester offices are thriving, and we’ll have premises in both Leeds and London by Q4 this year.
