IFB signs up tv celebrity Ben Fogle to address Grow Your Own Talent event

The conference will highlight the traditional and the newly-emerging recruitment models and methods of maintaining a pipeline of high-calibre candidates for employers

Ben said: “Recruiters often meet people starting out on their career journeys and I hope my experience will help illuminate the diversity in experience recruiters need to look for. I’ve been enormously fortunate in my media career which has taken me to places I thought I’d never go and got me involved in things I thought were beyond me.

“All careers are a journey of one sort or another but it is your values which remain constant and this is something which recruiters are now seeking in their candidates.

“I’m delighted to have been asked to address the event and hope to learn a lot from the experience.”

Delegates at the Grow Your Own Talent conference, which takes place on July 8 and 9 at Liverpool’s Cunard Building, will also hear from a range of leading voices who will provide case studies to highlight the diversity in approaches to recruitment.

&middot         Jason Holt, CEO of Holt Academies and Small Business Apprenticeship Ambassador

&middot         Katerina Rudiger, Head of Skills and Policy Campaigns, CIPD
