The helipad is 284ft up off the ground on top of the hospital and is the highest helipad in Europe. She was one of 130 brave Individuals over a course of 3 days to launch themselves “over the edge” scaling down the side of the building generating over £55k in sponsorship!
Vicki says that she can not believe she actually did it! The mental required stepping off into thin air!! “It was by far the scariest moment of my life” The feeling at the bottom is however tremendous. London’s Air Ambulance is a charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to critically injured people in London. The funds raised will help them save more lives, acquire a second helicopter and operate extended daylight flying hours enabling them to reach a further 400 patients each year by aircraft.
