“We are very excited about Vega becoming a part of Artech. This combination provides Vega with increased scale, a much wider set of service offerings for our clients, and greater opportunities for our consultants and staff,” said Vidur Luthra, Vega Co-Founder and Managing Partner. “As we reviewed industry trends and assessed our strategic options, we decided that a merger with a well-run, high scale partner like Artech would be the very best way to position Vega to meet our clients’ future needs,” Luthra added.
Artech’s President Ranjini Poddar said, “We are very impressed with the consistently high performance of the Vega team and we welcome them all to Artech.” Added Ajay Poddar, Artech’s Executive Vice President, “We are pleased to have an experienced management and delivery team in the Pacific Northwest and look forward to working with them to expand Artech’s growth in the region. We are also excited about the potential to offer the Vega team’s skills and capabilities in marketing, support operations, and non-technical project management to our existing clients.”
Vega will continue to operate under the Vega brand and with the same management team. John Pope has been named Regional Vice President and will drive long term growth planning as well as continuing to oversee Vega’s day to day operations.
