Cititec's second annual diversity report underlines the huge progress made

The report highlights key data and evidence, and sets out Cititec’s approach to EDI. The report also provides as an overview of the work Cititec has undertaken and communicates what still needs to be done.  Managing Director, Stephen Grant commented  “from a diversity perspective we had a successful year and we have succeeded in our objectives. We also exceeded all requirements in our annual EQuality Assured review”   The data Cititec is now starting to collect is extremely robust and valuable as intelligence for both the business and their clients. “ I am really proud of the lead we are playing in the recruitment industry when it comes to EDI and above all the positive impact it is having on our own people, our candidates and clients” said Grant.

Cititec was the first recruitment agency to publish an annual EDI report in 2013 and according to Grant it’s important for the business to continue to be held accountable and  demonstrate what they are doing in this area.  Similar to an annual financial report, the EDI report focuses on key performance and strategies around this element of the people agenda.

Cititec again partnered with Sateo (inclusion and equality specialists).  Sateo co-authored and audited the report in order to validate the contents and ensure its independence.  Managing director Julie Kaya said “In an IT age where businesses can access the same job boards and social media sources for their talent, too many recruiters are taking their clients for granted and failing to add value. Through their proactive work in diversity and inclusion Cititec are working strategically and tactically to build confidence amongst their diverse candidates and work very hard to ensure their shortlists are diverse every time.  Actions speak louder than words and Cititec are acting boldly and the numbers back up the actions.”
