CTPartners appoints partner in global consumer practice
Her primary search focus will be marketing and she will be based in New York.
Shortell joins CTPartners from WPP Group, where she served as senior vice president of executive recruitment and talent management. Since 2004, she helped to establish and managed the executive recruiting capability, financial function succession planning, and talent development for the firm’s North American operating companies. In addition to this responsibility, she developed WPP’s overall executive recruitment strategy for the global enterprise and contributed to their MBA Fellowship Program.
Previously, Shortell was a member of the Global CFO Practice at Heidrick & Struggles. Working across practices in this functional role, Trish delivered candidates to clients ranging from start-ups to prominent multinationals. Additionally, she served as a faculty member for training and development programs, and she initiated a firm-wide process for enhancing diversity efforts across all practices.
Her early career was spent at Wall Street corporate law firm, Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft, where she worked with the Management Committee on strategic initiatives, including partner recruitment globally.
