Odgers Interim appoints Education Practice consultant
Havers's new role will see her placing interim executives in the Education sector with a particular focus on schools, awarding bodies and skills councils. Sally is a qualified solicitor and has previously held positions at city law firm Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills) as well as at The Treasury Solicitor, which included a secondment to the Ministry of Defence.
Havers holds a MA History Degree from Cambridge University and is currently the Chair of Governors at Hockerill Anglo-European College in Bishop’s Stortford which is an outstanding comprehensive and state boarding school. In her role as Chair Havers led the recruitment of both the College's Principal and Vice Principal.
Havers will be working closely with Sarah Shaw, partner of the Education practice at Odgers Interim. The Education practice provides a comprehensive interim service in education management and children’s sectors including higher and further education institutions, schools, educational charities, awarding bodies, Children’s Services Departments of local authorities, the Department for Education and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, as well as training providers, the welfare to work arena, learned societies, research councils and institutes.
