Omega joins forces with UK's military community
Gloucestershire-headquartered Omega Resource Group has signed the corporate covenant which is designed to allow businesses and charitable organisations to express their support, and commit to ways in which they can provide that support.
A long standing supporter of the Armed Forces, Omega Resource Group - which has won awards for its recruitment partnership programmes - decided to confirm their support by signing the covenant which sets out the moral obligation of society towards members of the Armed Forces community and the community covenant provides a mechanism for local authorities and communities to express support for members of the Armed Forces community.
The global recruitment business has built a specialist team that recruits former Armed Forces personnel, combining the expertise and network of a leading independent recruitment company with its unique connections to the regimental system. By working closely with businesses to identify skills gaps, Omega Resource Group is able to fill these roles with service leaders who command the discipline, strength, knowledge and expertise acquired during Armed Forces employment.
The company - founded in 1998 - is renowned as one of the most innovative and reliable resource solutions businesses in the UK. Headquartered in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire with six UK and one international location, the company employs 120 staff and serves a wide range of clients including blue-chip international companies.
CEO of Omega Resource Group, Alan Beresford, commented: "There are many working environments where fast decision making skills and innovative solutions to complex problems are essential qualities that are second nature to ex-forces personnel. We are proud to support former Armed Forces personnel and we hope other businesses offer their support by signing the corporate covenant."
