Going up against some of the UK’s stand out SME’s, including The Fresh Group and 101 London, we will competing for the coveted award with winners being announced at the National Business Awards gala dinner held on 11th November at Park Lane’s Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
People Source was established in 2002 with a vision to grow an organisation that takes recruitment beyond the & lsquo;norm’ and after 12 years we can proudly say that this ambition has been a success. The Bristol based recruitment consultancy has grown into a respected supplier to many globally recognised brands within the technology industry, with a simple approach: we specialise in sourcing talent that other people can't find.
We have worked hard over the years to create a business that stands out, one that goes against the tide and thrives on its unique reputation for being collaborative, agile, and empowering. Our people are at the core of the success that People Source has achieved and take pride in their job - they love what they do! Our growth over the last few years has been phenomenal – last year alone we increased turnover by 90% and were listed as number 1 IT Recruitment Consultancy on the Recruiter Fast 50 – which has been partly down to attracting top talent in the industry, directly impacted by our reputation for having an exceptional work environment.
People Source are a founding member and sponsor of Byte Night South West, in support of Action for Children and similarly to the National Business Awards we support The Princes Trust. Our MD, Jason Baker, is a mentor for the Trust and offers his support and advice to young people setting up their own business.
Being shortlisted for The Santander Small to Medium-Sized Business of the Year Award is the next step in an already progressing plan to show the industry our capacity to provide an outstanding IT recruitment service, and to illustrate our mission to make People Source the best company to work for.
National Business Awards judge Stephen Dury of Santander said, "People Source Consulting is extremely well placed for future years to build on its excellent growth to date and remain an example to others on how to approach employee development and engagement. My goal is to make People Source the best possible place to work for the top talent in recruitment. We have fostered a special culture where people collaborate towards a common goal and understand that we play a major part in our candidates' life stories and enable the growth of our clients."
