Veredus education practice appoints new director
In her new position she will be utilising her extensive experience of working with higher education providers such as Oxford and Cambridge universities and Imperial College, London. Julia also has a long history of working in the recruitment arena including her time at both Execucare and Peridot Partners, where she was director of the fundraising practices and delivered bespoke campaigns to provide fundraising recruitment solutions for a range of businesses.
In her new role she will be responsible for developing and growing new and existing relationships through the identification of real recruitment needs. She will also be building lasting partnerships for the benefit of the team and clients and will drive growth strategies to support the business’ development plans.
Roberts commented on her move, “I was well aware of Veredus, as a former employer operated in the same sector, and knew all about the quality of work that the organisation was undertaking. Both fundraising and recruitment are largely driven by the relationships you can build with consumers, stakeholders and business leaders, so joining Veredus wasn’t a difficult decision and being part of a major FTSE 100 firm such as Capita PLC means I now have readily available access to greater resources. Education is my passion and joining Veredus means my chances of having a larger impact across a range of institutions have greatly increased.”
Jerry Gray, managing director at Veredus, commented on the appointment. “Hiring Julia is a crucial part of our ongoing growth strategy as we continue to secure the very best talent in the sector. She has an intimate knowledge of the higher education field and brings fresh thinking and ideas to the business, which are ideal qualities for the team at Veredus. Julia’s track record speaks for itself and she has a history of developing valuable, long-term relationships that can aid us and our clients.”
