3 U.S. staffing firms merge to form High Point-based CRG Workforce
CRG Workforce combines a $16 million High Point-based firm previously known as ComputerNet Inc., which specialized in information technology staffing services and two smaller staffing companies based in Charlotte. ComputerNet changed its name in January and then purchased a $3 million finance and accounting staffing firm called W2 Financial in February and a $7 million IT staffing company called Professional Computer Resources Inc. in July.
CRG, which stands for Consolidated Recruiting Group, is now a business with $26 million in revenues armed with the expertise of executives with decades of experience and staffing capabilities in industries ranging from accounting and finance to information technology.
CRG Workforce is headquartered at 4000 Piedmont Parkway in High Point, the former home of ComputerNet.
Tim Sessoms, who founded ComputerNet two decades ago, serves as CEO of CRG Workforce and will remain based at the High Point office along with the company's internal finance and accounting operations and recruiting activities for large national accounts.
Meanwhile, executives from W2 and Professional Computer Resources are housed in a Charlotte office at 9335 Harris Corners Parkway that CRG opened earlier this year. CRG's Charlotte office also houses a new legal division as well as other operations such as human resources and CRG's permanent staffing division, said Jason Heller, senior vice president of CRG.
