Better Placed Recruitment opens new division following appointment of director
The business which already operates within sales, marketing and HR, sees the addition of E&M as a natural extension and a further complimentary offering to what is an established and diverse client base across the UK.
In addition, Mike will also be targeting the traditional engineering and manufacturing industries, having spent the last eight years recruiting for both sectors while at Michael Page.
Joining Mike in the new division is Tom Steeper who has been at BPR for five years.
Dean Bartle, one of the founding Directors of Better Placed, believes the new division comes at the right time in the development of the company.
“This is an exciting time for the business,” he said “The founding directors of Better Placed are ambitious and keen to build on what has been achieved in the last 12 years. We are always looking for opportunities to further develop the Better Placed Brand and take our service lead approach into new areas and disciplines.
“Mike’s track record and network in the engineering and manufacturing sector is second to none and we have no doubts he will make a success of this opportunity.”
Speaking about the move, Mike said,
“I was keen to join Better Placed as it is a business that not only affords me greater autonomy and opportunity but I also wanted the chance to gain greater commercial acumen and learn from a management team that has a proven track record in starting, establishing, growing and driving successful recruitment propositions .”
BPR was established in Leeds in 2002 and has 40 members of staff across its three offices. Last year its turnover grew by 30 per cent with similar growth projected for this year.
