Government Enterprise Ambassador backs competition to showcase UKs amazing self-employed talent
The nationwide competition, 15 for 2015, is searching for the UK’s best self-employed professionals. With the number of people choosing self-employment rising at a record rate, the competition aims to back these brave, enterprising individuals.
Lorely Burt, Government Ambassador for Women and Enterprise and MP for Solihull, said, “There are more enterprising individuals out there than ever before and it’s fantastic that the 15 for 2015 competition backs these self-employed professionals. The competition will showcase the amazing talent of independent professionals from across the land and highlight the important contributions they make to the economy and society at large. I wish all of the entrants the best of luck in the competition.”
Louis Clark, spokesman for the competition, said, “Record numbers of people across all demographics are choosing to be their own boss and the entrepreneurial spirit and bravery of these individuals must be recognised and celebrated. This is exactly what this competition aims to do and it’s fantastic to have the Government Ambassador for Women and Enterprise celebrate the growing self-employed army with us.”
