HR GO annnounces 2 senior appointments

Roderick (Roddy) Barrow has been appointed chief financial Officer of HR GO, while Mark Gaisford has taken the position of operations director of one of the Group’s subsidiary companies, HR GO Recruitment Ltd.

Craig Vidler, Group managing director, said the new appointments add real strength  to the senior management  team.   “I am delighted to announce these  two senior appointments” he said.  “They are  both  highly experienced  individuals who are  well equipped  to take  the  business, which was founded in Kent nearly sixty years ago, to an exciting new stage in its development”.

He added, “We are already very strong in placing temporary  staff, giving excellent service to our clients across Kent and the UK.  However, with the economy picking up fast, we want to build on our success in the temp market by further developing our services in the permanent staff arena”.

Roddy Barrow is a Chartered Accountant with  substantial  experience  at senior level within  well&shy regarded  organisations, including Ingeus, an international employment and training company The Book People Group, where he was CFO and Technicolor, where he was European Finance Director. He is married with three teenage children.

Barrow said, “I am delighted to be joining HR GO, which has a proud record of achievement across the UK and Kent for some 60 years.  When I was with Ingeus, an international employment and training business, turnover nearly doubled in three years.   With so many exciting opportunities in the recruitment industry, I am looking forward to helping HR GO grow in a similar way”.

Keen runner Mark Gaisford has been working as a consultant for HR GO for the past year. 

He has previously held senior roles in some of the UK’s largest recruitment companies, including Jark plc (MD), Fortis Personnel (MD) and Blue Arrow UK (Operations Director).  Mark, who is married with two children, Jack, 18 and Jemma, 15, said “I am delighted to be part of a fast&shydeveloping business and helping to meet the challenges of internal change and adding new services to our portfolio for clients and candidates”.
