HR graduate voluntary placement scheme launches
People Force International has a select pool of talented graduates who are seeking experience in specialist HR Departments. HR GradUnited is a scheme aimed to link graduates with vital experience allowing them to thrive in the real world of employment and enhance their employability.
Risha Khagram, Scheme Leader for HR GradUnited at People Force International, explains what the scheme benefits are for both parties concerned, & lsquo;HR GradUnited is a six week voluntary placement scheme which enables HR Graduates to gain invaluable work experience in a professional organisation. This scheme makes each Graduate employable to future employers and may lead to that first HR job they aspire towards. The scheme is very appealing to organisations as it gives them the opportunity to pre-screen the most ambitious and enthusiastic graduates.
Roanna Blacklock, former Head of HR at Phaidon International had a graduate placed via the HR GradUnited scheme offered by People Force International. Roanna commented, & lsquo; Our first volunteer, was simply amazing. She came loaded with innovative ideas which we subsequently implemented, she was quick, efficient and very hard working. She also helped clear a significant backload of tasks that we could never find the time to do. In addition she was a great bubbly member of the team which is always a benefit! And she received very good feedback from both our COO and CEO.’
People Force International has a select pool of talented graduates throughout the United Kingdom who are seeking experience in HR departments.
Jo Harman, Head of HR at Karmarama also had a graduate placed with her via the scheme, she commented, ’We found that it was very helpful to have an extra pair of hands at an exceptionally busy time – we were launching our pension scheme, running a round of redundancies, preparing to launch a new performance appraisal system as well as the day to day stuff meant that we were overwhelmed and so to have some extra help was so useful. We also really enjoyed having our Graduate on the team so from a personal perspective it was great to have another person around.’
