Merseyside SMEs offered free HR support from High Performance Consultancy
ERDF funding has enabled HPC, a leading national HR provider whose main headquarters is in Liverpool, to offer business project support up to the value of £2,400 completely free.
The funding is designed to help SMEs grow by accessing support they may not currently budget for to speed up their growth.
Support can be offered in the form of Staff Performance Management, HR Management Coaching, Absence Management, Reward and Recognition or general HR.
According to HPC managing director Victoria Brown, the support can offer businesses the chance to increase their workforce and manage growth in order to increase revenues and step up to the next level.
“The ERDF has recognised that a lot of businesses with fewer than 250 employees often try to deal with HR in-house,” she said. “This might appear to save money in the short term but ultimately it could prove costly.
“Employment law, at a national and European level, is constantly changing and it is easy to miss something vital when HR is just one of many aspects of your business you need to worry about.
“This could result in your business not operating efficiently, failing to capitalise on opportunities for growth or even making a critical mistake in communication that could affect the outcome of an employment tribunal.
“By offering this fully funded introductory support we are opening up HPC so that growing firms can benefit from our expertise in HR and see how our services can help them make the most of their success and communicate change effectively with their workforce.
“As HPC helps them grow we have a full range of extended services to offer which means we can offer them the benefit of support they trust whatever their size.”
The aim of the ERDF funding is to measurably increase the turnover or number of employees within each successful applicant firm.
