Paul Nolan makes instant impact as New CEO of Timothy James Consulting
Timothy James Consulting, backed by James Caan’s private equity company Hamilton Bradshaw, has announced the hire of Paul Nolan as CEO. Nolan has spent the last 10 years in directorship roles across the Impellam Group and will aim to build upon TJC’s huge success in recent years, which has seen them win numerous industry and national awards. Within his first two months he has hired ten new recruiters across TJC’s London, Manchester and Bristol branches, underlining his plans for accelerated growth.
Established as market leaders in the Senior Appointments space, TJC fill permanent and contract roles within Project & Programme Management, IT & Business Change and at Executive level. With a firm belief in only providing clients and candidates with sector specialists, the business has achieved three consecutive Virgin Fast Track 100 awards, as well as being named one of the Sunday Times’ Best 100 Companies to Work For.
Nolan’s immediate aims revolve around growing the workforce, to continue providing a quality service to an ever expanding list of clients in Financial Services, Public Services, Retail & Media and Energy.
"I look forward to broadening TJC’s reach and leadership in the Senior Appointments space while maintaining lasting relationships with the candidates we place. I’m delighted that in my first month we’ve hired 10 excellent recruiters who want to help shape the future of the business and provide a genuinely quality service. Our core markets are extremely buoyant and the Senior Appointments space is really gathering momentum, so now is a very exciting time."
Caan, whose Hamilton Bradshaw is one of the Top 30 Fastest Growing Recruitment Groups in the world, believes that the spate of recent hires demonstrate the unique culture of the business.
"TJC are renowned for the rewarding environment and well-defined career path they provide to their employees. With the growth prospects now on the horizon for the business, there are fantastic opportunities available for talented recruiters. Paul has already shown his ability to lead a large scale recruitment business and I have no doubt he can take TJC to another level, whilst still maintaining their ethos of understanding every client and candidate."
