Michael Bailey Associates announces sponsorship deal

The deal encompasses signage around the ground, LED signage, space in matchday programmes and big screen advertising to generate exposure of the brand to over 21,000 home and away fans in the ground.  On top of this, the Club’s new Premiership status will ensure that the brand is seen by up to hundreds of thousands of football fans globally on Sky TV coverage, as well as online via YouTube, match streaming services and social media channels.  

Michael Bailey Associates is a privately owned company, led by CEO Mike Garlick who founded it 25 years ago.  Originally from Burnley, he followed the local football team whilst growing up and is a passionate, lifelong supporter.  Professional success enabled him to take an active interest in the Club, and he became a Director in 2006 and co-Chairman in 2012.

Now that Burnley Football Club has returned to the Premiership for the 2014/2015 season after a four year absence, Mike felt it was time to further his investment in the Club through sponsorship and at the same time boost global awareness of the Michael Bailey Associates brand.

“Michael Bailey Associates is an international company, and the Premier League is the most followed and arguably the most exciting football league in the world, so there is a natural fit there.   For me personally, it is the obvious way to combine the next phase of Michael Bailey’s international expansion with my passion for the team. 

“The Premier League is extremely popular in our key S E Asian markets of Singapore and Malaysia.  These are relatively new markets for Michael Bailey Associates where we are competing against companies that have developed a long, well established brand presence.  The sponsorship will help us gain traction with clients in this area as well as in our key markets in Europe, the UK and Australia.”

Burnley’s first home game of the season took place on Monday 18th August against Chelsea, when despite going a goal up, they succumbed to the experience and strength of the away team.  The Michael Bailey Associates brand could be seen throughout the Sky coverage, and website visitors have already increased more than ten fold as a result.
