CRG set to hit 26m as the demand for healthcare roles surges
Currently handling contracts valued at over £20 million, the St Helens, Merseyside-based company has seen revenues jump by 37 per cent in 2014. It attributes the significant growth to rising demand from NHS and private healthcare providers for qualified candidates, especially nurses, community health professionals and locums.
Ian Munro, CEO of CRG, said, “The shortage of experienced and qualified healthcare staff throughout the UK has significantly increased competition for top candidates in the sector.
“Following the recent appointment to several healthcare frameworks and continuing investment in our service infrastructure, CRG is well placed to help employers address this need and our successful growth is testament to the company’s solid reputation in the healthcare market.”
As one of the fastest-growing national providers of healthcare services and medical staffing solutions, CRG has filled more than 569,000 roles in the healthcare sector in the last 12 months. The recruitment firm specialises in supplying a variety of qualified healthcare professionals to NHS and private healthcare providers, including medical locums, GPs, nurses, health science services staff and specialists in allied health, domiciliary care and supported living.
Munro added, “It’s very easy to take a one-size-fits-all approach by using the same methods to recruit different staff, but this just isn’t possible in the healthcare sector. With a keen eye on care and compliance, we work hard to deliver the highest quality employees available, while ensuring each candidate is dealt with as an individual and their needs are managed throughout the recruitment process.”
Established in 2000, CRG currently employs 145 staff across the UK. Having significantly diversified its market offering, it is now the parent company to 11 sub brands including: CRG Healthcare, CRG Homecare, CRG Defence and CRG Doctors.
The company has an extensive portfolio of clients, covering both the public and private sectors. It is the preferred supplier to major public sector organisations, including the NHS and MoD, as well as over 21 local authorities, including Leeds City Council, Liverpool City Council and Salford City Council.
Private sector clients include: Spire Healthcare, Ramsay Healthcare, Nuffield Hospitals and General Healthcare Group (including BMI Hospitals). The company’s client base also covers charitable organisations, such as Macintyre, Mencap and Care UK.
