InGenesis CEO named staffing industry leader
Edwards stands out as the only Hispanic included in this year's list who is the owner and CEO of her company.
SIA recognized Ms. Edwards for her entrepreneurial leadership in creating one of the largest workforce solutions firms in the country. Earlier this year, SIA named InGenesis the fastest-growing U.S. staffing firm, with a three-year compound annual growth rate of 132.7 percent. InGenesis moved up from last year's number-two ranking to take the top spot this year.
Edwards attributes the continued growth to a customer-centered mindset. "Building long-term client relationships is our first priority. When we can forge enduring partnerships and strengthen our core capabilities, we are better prepared for new service opportunities."
She adds, "Committed relationships have been invaluable as we expand our MSP/VMS service line globally. There is a growing demand among Fortune 500 companies for high-performing Tier 1 diversity suppliers. We are in a position to meet this demand because we established trust and loyalty with our MSP/VMS business partners."
This is not the first time Ms. Edwards has received recognition for her strength in leadership. She was a finalist for the 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, named by Inc. magazine as a Top 10 Female CEO in 2012 and named the nation's top Hispanic Businesswoman by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2011.
