Legal recruiters portal launch leads to Master Vendor status

The portal - provided at no cost to the client - has already helped the company seal an exclusive deal to act as a Master Vendor for one of the UK’s biggest law firms.

Joanne Watkinson, Key Account Manager with Douglas Scott said: “No other legal recruitment agency is offering this product and the feedback we have had from end users has been fantastic.

“One client is looking to make close to 1,000 hires over the next 12 months. The portal eliminates gaps present in the regular recruitment workflow and identifies and then encourages end users to clear the bottlenecks that appear at crossroads in the journey. It is a vital component in the strategy to remove the pain points that may otherwise have manifested themselves during such an ambitious recruitment project.”

The portal has taken three months to develop at a cost of around &pound35,000.

Douglas Scott has also appointed a second tier of agents in order to help service its recent Master Vendor contract win. Kathryn Riley, Douglas Scott’s Managing Director advised: “Over the last couple of weeks we have on-boarded a number of agencies including BCL Legal, G2 and Reed who have committed to helping our clients meet their resourcing objectives.”
