Michael Page appoints two operating directors

Ben Carr from Sheffield joined Michael Page Procurement and Supply Chain as a consultant in 2006. Ben was later promoted to Manager and in 2011he was appointed Associate Director for Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds and Manchester.

Carr brought the company consecutive years of growth and was rewarded with trips to Miami and Barbados, as well as raising over 2.5k for charity in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, PageGroup’s biggest annual fundraising event.

Carrs new role as Operating Director will include managing all Procurement and Supply Chain teams in the North of England, as well as five teams in Manchester, two teams in Leeds and two teams in Sheffield.  

Gareth Davies started at Michael Page in 2005 as a graduate trainee fresh out of Oxford University. Working in Michael Page Finance in Manchester, Gareth sought to develop his career at PageGroup further by relocating to the New York office in the Chrysler Building in 2008 for 18 months to help build the Finance Not-for-Profit business.

After returning to the UK, Gareth was promoted to Regional Manager in 2010 and then Associate Director in 2013. Career highlights include his relocation to New York, two Director promotions within 12 months and being rewarded as a top biller with a number of trips.

In his new role as operating director, Gareth is responsible for the entire North West Qualified Finance business, managing five teams across industry & commerce, not-for-profit and specialist markets, as well as a team of 15 consultants which will continue to expand rapidly in 2015.
