Parkside Recruitment celebrates its silver anniversary

The team began with three members in 1989 and has grown to an impressive 65, underpinning the company's commitment to leading the way and evolving through the decades.

Since its inception in 1989 Parkside has continuously developed its core values, one of which being Working in Partnership. The company prides themselves on having long term partnerships with their clients, candidates and consultants, some of whom have worked with and for them for over 20 years. Parkside has placed 8,000 candidates in perm placements and 10,000 in temp/contract bookings and worked with 2500 clients in its lifetime, which is considerable for a 2 branch business located just inside the M25.

To mark this occasion Parkside hosted an event on Friday 17th October at the Radisson Heathrow with specially invited clients and candidates who have supported them over the years.  Several special guests were invited including Tony Goodwin, Antal's chairman and recent nominated entrepreneur of the year at the LondonlovesExcellence awards and Paul Keady who was one of the co-founders of Parkside.  Laughs were provided by Addy van der Borgh. 

Mike Ryall commented, “I am delighted to have reached such a significant milestone in our company history and would like to thank all of our employees, clients, and candidates alongside Paul Keady and Malcolm Costello who originally founded the company in 1989, and Tony Goodwin who is today the majority shareholder and continues to invest in our future growth.

"Many significant events have changed the face of the recruitment industry over the past 25 years technology, social media, the advent of internal recruitment teams, legislation and the recession to name but a few. However we have ridden all of the storms, and embraced all of the & lsquo;revolutions’ as they each arrived, and as a result we have developed and  grown into a far more cohesive business. I am proud to say our desire to be the recruitment partner of choice, for both our clients and candidates, is stronger than ever.

Strongly focused on the end goal, Parkside will concentrate on organic growth and acquisitions for the next 18 to 24 months, developing and shaping the team of consultants to 80 plus therefore allowing Parkside to service more clients and candidates in the future.
