Pertemps Network Group keeps on climbing

Pertemps Network Group (PNG), based in Meriden, has been ranked at number 35 in the Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250.

The business, one of the UK’s largest independent providers of recruitment solutions, had been listed at 46 in the 2013 table.

The Top Track 250 ranks the biggest companies by sales – PNG reported a turnover for 2013 of over &pound468m. 2014 looks equally promising, as half-year results revealed that gross profit increased by &pound9.5m, from &pound40.3m to &pound49.8m.

Spencer Jones, Group Finance Director, said: “Our continual climb up the Top Track 250 table is testament to an ambitious growth strategy that is fuelled by selective acquisition of new businesses combined with organic expansion. 2013 was a tremendous year for PNG during which we invested in all of our key sectors. This is a path we will continue to follow, having made two acquisitions this year and started two new businesses with further acquisitions on the horizon.”

Pertemps Network Group offers immediate and strategic solutions to both the private and public sector and is made up of Pertemps Ltd, which was established in 1961, and Network Group, comprising individually managed agencies offering expertise across specialist recruitment sectors.
