Recruit Ventures stretches to Infinity
Based in central Coventry the new business is headed up by Daniel Ahern and Ben Connors. Both men have successful track records in recruitment having run busy desks for leading agencies.
& lsquo; It was though’, says Daniel, & lsquo;time to do it our way. Like lots of recruitment consultants I think both Ben and I have a strong entrepreneurial streak, so this was very much about wanting to run our own business. But, more than that, we wanted to develop a service driven agency a business with service levels at its core’.
The plan is to concentrate on developing and building relationships with both clients and candidates, evolving a bespoke service informed by in depth client knowledge. & lsquo; From the outset’, says Ben Connors, & lsquo;we want to be seen as a supplier who will listen. We have local knowledge, and we know specific sectors like industrial, manufacturing, driving and logistics - but what we really understand is the need for real relationships. The clue is in the name. We’ll take infinite pains to make sure we place the right people in the right role’.
The new agency had a waiting list of clients before it opened its doors, which is an impressive start point. Taking the leap into running their own show was made even more secure with backing from Recruit Ventures. & lsquo;Their input has been amazing’ said Ben.
Recruit Ventures Managing Director David Simons spoke about their latest partner. & lsquo; We’re thrilled to be working with Infinity’, he said. & lsquo; We provided backing, and the back-up systems that I know have thrilled Danny and Ben. We helped with branding too. All of that means that they have the freedom and peace of mind to concentrate on the business. They’re committed to service, and we think they’re sure to succeed’.
