Russell Taylor's London office celebrates its second anniversary on a high
To add to this impressive rate of growth in such a short time, the business is also showing an increase in its workforce. Headcount growth is up 50 per cent on 2013 and a similar rise in staff figures is predicted for next year.
The office was set up in September 2012 when an enthusiastic group of technical recruitment professionals working in London approached Russell Taylor as they were looking for a new sponsor to whom they could commit their talents.
A day's visit by the team's leader, Matt Hartie, to Russell Taylor headquarters in Bromborough led to arrangements being agreed – and within two weeks the business was operating out of an office in the City.
Matt is now managing director of the London operation. He leads a team of 12 operating in the technical recruitment sectors of engineering, construction and fire and security, working with more than 50 new clients to the Russell Taylor Group.
Group chief executive Ben Russell, who was responsible for making this strategic development happen, said: “Matt and the team compliment our business exceptionally well and are a key element of our growth plans for the next 12 months.”
Matt Hartie added: “We have an in incredible business that's going from strength to strength, one that has achieved so much in two years.
“I am proud to be part of this team and, with the recession behind us, looking forward to growing and developing during the rest of this year and in 2015.”
