Urquhart Partnership Holding announces significant new business wins following acquisition

The parent company of north east HR, training and recruitment consultancy Urquhart Partnership bought branding, website and graphic design agency Hampton Associates in June, after acquiring digital specialists Tide Studio in 2013.

The new contracts cover brand definition and development as well as website and app creation for a wide cross-section of businesses, from international oil and gas operators to legal firms and world-renowned whisky distillers.

Following the successes, the benefits of working together are to be further enhanced by bringing the two companies under one roof and one name.

The merger of the companies means that the combined business will trade as Hampton Associates from 1 October from Hampton’s Victoria Street premises in Aberdeen, combining operations and bringing the already integrated specialisms into one hub for creative innovation.

Urquhart Partnership Holding Ltd group managing director, Campbell Urquhart, said: “We knew we were creating something meaningful, with real value for customers, when we agreed the acquisition. Indeed, that’s the feedback we’ve had from the business community.

“This outstanding result, in the few short months since then, shows the strength our combined offering has and how it sets us apart.

“All the more reason to increase the integration of our expertise, not only to make it easier for our clients to access those services, but so we can work even more closely together: feeding off each other’s passion and knowledge.”

Scott Hunter, the group’s creative director, said: “Hamptons and Tide have particularly complementary skills and knowledge.

“Together we produce exceptional digital, design and brand work that makes a real difference to clients’ businesses. Given the strides made since the acquisition, I think the prospect of what we can do as a single entity will only serve to galvanise the opportunity even more.”
