VMA Direct Twelve months of growth
After just 12 months of trading, VMA Direct is now on target to have a team of ten consultants by the turn of the year, and James Attrell has been brought on board to manage this growth phase.
VMA Direct works across all sectors at the entry to mid-level, and has already completed recruitment assignments for clients such as BBC, Waitrose, Network Rail and Selfridges amongst many others. It also provides an innovative “CV Sifting” service as well as hosting workshops to help young communications professionals learn key employment skills.
Rosemary Scott, change comms lead at Westminster City Council, commented, "I have worked with VMA Direct to recruit two Internal Communications Officers and found it to be a stress-free and efficient process. From my first call to the appointment of both roles it was only one week. I would definitely recommend VMA Direct as they really understand the function of communications and therefore recommend the best fit candidates."
Julia Meighan, chief executive of VMA Group, added, “VMA Direct was launched in the UK to offer our clients a suite of recruitment services more suited to their needs at the entry to mid-level. The first twelve months have exceeded our expectations, and with the level of client demand continuing to rise at this level in the UK, we expect the aggressive expansion to continue throughout 2015.”
